Context: asked in #general on 2026-09-17 — user asked whether the bot has a reminder feature; it does not.

Problem:
There is no way to schedule a bot message for the future. Asking the bot to remind someone means pinging it again manually at the right time, which defeats the point.

Proposed solution:
Add a reminder command, roughly:

@Reseam remind me in <duration>: <text>
@Reseam remind <@user> in <duration>: <text>
@Reseam remind list / cancel <id>

Parse durations like 10m, 2h, 1d, ISO timestamps
Bot posts the reminder in the original channel with a jump link back to the request
Reminders should survive bot restarts (persist them, not just in-process timers)
Respect permissions: only allow reminding users who share the channel, cap duration

Workaround today:
None, besides the user remembering on their own or pinning a message and checking pins periodically.
